在写托福作文的时候,希望大家举例的时候能够写实例,因为实例有它的特指性和唯一性,当然,如果实在你没有经历过,在举例虚拟一个场景的时候, if起头,就不要弄错了。
大家在举例的时候常常会这么说“如果………”,”假设………..”,即if………
先不说这种举例的好还是坏,就本身的句子而言,很多都是有问题的.

先看两个托福作文例子:
[Scenery]Sue has lost her watch. She think it may be at Ann’s house.
SUE: I think I left my watch at your house. Have you seen it?
(1) ANN: no, but I’ll have a look when I get home. If I find it, I’ll tell you.
If I find…., I’ll……
(2) Ann says: If I found a wallet in the street, I’d take it to the police.
If I found……, I’d(=I would)……..(而不是if I find, I’ll…..){if的作文}.

先看两个托福作文例子:

If I find"., I’ll""
(2) Ann says: If I found a wallet in the street, I’d take it to the police.
If I found"", I’d(=I would)""..(而不是if I find, I’ll"..) 这里两个句子有着不同的意思,前者表示Ann觉得她有找到手表的真实可能性.因此才说if I find".., I’ll"..
而后者是完全不同的情况.在这里Ann没有考虑真实的可能性;她在虚拟这一个托福 作文 情景,并不认为真的可以在街上拣到手表.于是才说:if I found"",I’d""
if I do""".和if I did"""的区别
用if+过去式(if I found / if you were / if we didn’t等) 表示虚拟的事情,而不是指过去时间发生的事情:
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
I don’t really want to go to their party, but I probably will go. They’d be offended if I didn’t go
Sarah has decided not to apply for the job. She isn’t really qualified for it, so she probably wouldn’t get it if she applied.
If从句中一般不用would:
I’d be very frightened if somebody pointed a gun at me.(而非if somebody would point)
If I didn’t go to their party, they’d be offended(而非if I wouldn’t go)
If "".would可以表示用来请求某人做某事:
I would be grateful if you would send me your brochure as soon as possible.
“Shall I close the door?” “yes, please, If you would.” Would(‘d) / wouldn’t用于句子的主句(不是if从句)
If you took more exercise, you’d (=you would) probably feel healthier.
Would you mind if I used your phone?
I’m not tired enough to go to bed yet. I wouldn’t sleep.
另外,if引导的条件句也能引起倒装,如果要是在作文里用到,也是一个加分点:
先看正常语序.
It would be a serious setback, if the talks were to fail.
If you should need more information, please telephone our main office. If Alex had asked, I would have been able to help.
倒装是要省略if
it would be a serious setback, were the talks to fail.
Should you need more information, please telephone our main office. Had Alex asked, I would have been able to help
倒装句比if-从句更加正式.
但是在否定句里面,不可以用缩写
e.g.
Had he not resigned, we should have been forced to sack him(不用hadn’t he"..)

篇三:《英语作文if i were an astronaut》
1 Sometime in 2033, a rover is detecting the lunar surface in the vast universe. An astronaut is focusing on operating it. Facing the twinkling dashboard, she is not in a rush, but determined. That astronaut is my future self. I think you’ve already get my point. That’s it. I want to be an astronaut.
2 whenever Chinese inhabited spacecrafts were launched into the space, I would looked up admiringly thinking to myself that when can I walk on the moon to know this place full of mysterious and wonderful? Therefore, I designed to be an astronaut.
3 If I were an astronaut, I would do a variety of experiments in the space lab and also observe the surroundings of it to complete the international scientific research project. Certainly, I would explore the stars, help clean out the space junk, and detect other unknown galaxies. I would give answers to all human questions and pass on knowledge acquired in the space to people, so as to help them learn more about the space and finally uncover the mystery.
4 Mother once told me being an astronaut must acquire lots of knowledge and skills. I think so. However this cannot frighten me. I must exert my efforts to accomplish my ambition. I’d better read more books as many as possible to expand knowledge. Also, I have to grasp necessary skills and put what I have learned into practice. Taking more exercises to build up my body. What’s more, I will try to be more attentive and train my handing ability. For the future, I am willing to accept all kinds of challenges. That's the only way I can become an astronaut.
5 This is my dream that to become an astronaut. I know, dream is the driving force. Dream has stick ability. I have to put all my efforts to make it happen. Come on! The success is waiting for me!
篇四:《Cnifgk雅思作文7。5》
生命中，不断地有人离开或进入。于是，看见的，看不见的；记住的，遗忘了。生命中，不断地有得到和失落。于是，看不见的，看见了；遗忘的，记住了。然而，看不见的，是不是就等于不存在？记住的，是不是永远不会消失？

1 听力：（8分）
1 剑4—7：我把真题的听力听写了两遍。第一遍是全部听写，一开始要听好几遍才能写下来一句话，而且词的单复数也好多不对，一套题就要听写好长时间。由于雅思听力很多填空，单词的准确性极为重要，尤其是单复数很难听准确，所以这样的听写有利于找到听力中的漏洞，找到一些自以为会但写不对的单词，而且单复数听也会比较准确，连读也会听的比较清楚。第一遍听下来我就写了好几本白纸了，很厚一沓~~第二遍主要听写了一下主要意思，写的也比较快。
听力每天都要听，精听和泛听配合，我们老师让我每星期5个BBC或VOA的听（2分多钟的），每篇都写下来，然后找他对原文，找那个地方错了。如果写的困难，可以用ＶＯＡ慢速。泛听挑零碎时间听，最好不要晚上睡觉在床上听，听的睡着的话以后一听见英文就犯困。囧~~{if的作文}.

有的同学只全部做了一遍，做多了多少会记住答案，但如果阅读不是很
好，最好还是做三遍 。第一遍：成套做一遍，注意做错的题，必须找到做错的原因（注意不要留下深的印记）同时尽量控制做题时间在50分钟。把真题里不会的单词总结并背会。 第二遍：分8大题型做，如把leadings的题目都找出来，集中做一遍，把错题搞明白。8大题型其实都是在找关键词，集中练习有利于快速准确确定关键词并在文章中找到关键词。其中最难的应该是判断false 与not given的题目，需要多练习。8大题型有4个有顺序，4个没顺序。Leadings题型做题时一般取每个段落的前两句的大意，如果段落里有but however等转折词，就取最后一句的意思，而不取第一二句意思。第三遍：成套再做一遍。

写作7.5分心得：
大作文的写作最重要，但是小作文也很重要，不能一直放的小作文不看，因为小作文如果写的不流畅，老是思考，不能在20分钟内写完，就会严重影响大作文的质量。写作文一定要知道换说法，一个意思同样的说法最好不要出现第二遍，这当然需要积累不同的句型和短语，比如文章后面给的写好处的句子要记得换的用哦~~~老师说大作文要得高分，倒装句、插入语、强调句、复合句和同位语至少各用一次！！一开始，我每篇作文都五种句型刻意出现一遍，到后来就用的比较熟
1把《雅思写作机经题源大全 》看了三遍，主要是记了上面的论据。上面的文章按类型分类，可以总结一下某一方面常用的搭配和句型。
2 我的写作老师让我把新概念3的文章背了，这不是要命么。。不过我把新3上的文章都看了一遍，把觉得好的句子总结在了一个本上，然后背，尤其是快考试那几天每天背一遍，弄得很熟，所以用起来也很熟。大家一定要看啊！！！ 3 关于模板：我觉得模板还是很有用的，但不是已有书上的模板，大家都知道的那些模板和句型最好少用。因为雅思作文一共五大类，我一般练得都是两边倒的作文，自己有准备一个模板，除了问原因解决类的作文外都可以用同一个模板，所以要练得比较熟，一般写作文都要用自己的模板。不过我考试时候还是碰上了问原因类的作文，所以最好是总结两个模板就万无一失啦~~。
4 当时老师让我基本上一天看一篇《经济学人》的文章，总结不会的单词、短语和句型，因为上面的文章都是老外写的，所以文章非常地道，好句子很多~~~
5 上强化课前看过一遍十天突破雅思写作，觉得还是很不错的，对雅思写作有了比较全面的了解。但是上面的句型和模板最好不要用了~~
6 关于写作文：我一共写了十篇左右的大作文，小作文要每种至少练一篇吧，快考试前一个星期我用专门的雅思考试写作纸卡时间，大小作文一起一起写，写了4套。我觉得大作文不在于要练的很多，但是要刻意的改进。写完一篇文章后要自己改一遍，把看的出来的语法和单词错误改了，还要看论据合不合理，再把看过的好的句型刻意套进去，然后如果有条件找个老师给改改。第一篇作文我写了一个半小时才写完，当时真是把所有能用的上的好句子和词组都尽量往里套。老师说第一篇要是半小时之内写完就是混的没好好写。尽快把能用的上的写作资料背熟，这样写作时间自然会减少，小作文必须20分钟搞定，如果你的模板和句子用的熟，大作文也会很流畅。我的雅思考试作文写了满满的2页考试纸后，又要了一张写了一半，还把小作文检查了一遍（真的检查出一个错~哈）。 7 除此之外，我还总结了四种句型，开头句型，写好处的句型，写坏处的句型和解决问题类句型。因为所有的雅思议论文题目基本上都是要讨论一个问题的好{if的作文}.
的方面和坏的方面，所以这样的句式要准备几个（不用太多），而且确定自己背的很熟，最好是每篇文章都换的多用，达到用的灵活自如。
好句总结：
1 多用such替换the ,a . 例：Admittedly, such issue ,to some extent,has given rise to a bunch of familiar questions.（模板的第3段开头）
2 开头句型：（放在文章中间也很好的句子）
