【结论】
一般过去时表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态，也可以表示过去某一段时间习惯性的动作。常和表示过去的时间状语连用，如yesterday，last week等。 be动词的过去式有was和were两种形式，was是am和is的过去式，were是are的过去式：实义动词的过去式一般是在词尾直接加一ed，对于不规则动词的过去式需要单独记忆。
肯定句变否定句耐，谓语动词如果是was或were，直接在其后力~,not；如果是实义动词，则要用“didnt+动词原形”形式。
陈述句变一般疑问句时，如果谓语动词是was或were，将was或were提前； 如果谓语是实义动词，在句首加did，即：Did+主语+动词原形+其他?其简略答语为：Yes, 主语+was／were／did．或No, 主语}Wasnt／werent。／didnt．
