母亲很忙,常在星期天把看望外婆的任务交给我。我是逐渐看到外婆衰老的。有一回躺在床上的外婆仍念叨着要我吃别人看望她时送来的东西,我常常经不住唠叨就吃上一点,再说会话就回去了。最后一次去看外婆时,她告诉我她摔下了床,胳膊都肿了,不忘的还是让我吃芝麻糖,我经不住劝就吃了一根。又过了两天,母亲让我又去看外婆感冒是否好了,我匆匆去了一趟就赶紧回来了,因为我还有事要做。外婆留我不住,就反复吩咐我在路上骑车慢点。没想到这次见面竟成了我和外婆的永别。

In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.

To begin with, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers are often judged by examination results, they are reduced to training their students in exam techniques. No subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations. In addition, the most undesirable effect is that

examinations encourage bad study habits. As the examination score is the only criterion for his academic performance, a student is driven to memorize mechanically rather than to think creatively.

让立意正确、集中

虽然在高考作文等级评分体系中并没有“立意”这个说法,立意问题更多地看审题是否切题,中心是否突出。但是,它是一根无形的指挥棒,在暗中操纵着阅卷老师的评分尺度。阅卷老师一般是从两个方面入手评立意分的:

1.从文章中心的确立看立意是否正确、集中 ①看文章中心是否突出。

当阅卷老师看到你的文章时,能感觉到你的文章有一个明确的中心,而这个中心落实到一个具体的题目上,形成了自己的写作中心,并能让这个中心贯穿始终,统帅所有的材料。同时,文章中表达的见解、看法鞭辟入里,超出一般地显露出来,情感鲜明、态度坚决,那你的文章的立意有可能进入一类卷了。

②看文章中心理解是否准确、深刻,有无思想。

文如其人,人的伟大在于思想。平庸的作文,即指内容空洞、毫无思想的作文。一篇文章有了思想,就有了血肉生命,有了“精气神”。这个思想就是看你对文题有无自己独到的理解、分析。

2.从立意的常见误区看立意是否正确、集中 立意的常见误区有: ①偏离题意。

②认知、情感有偏差。如2010年山东卷作文,若在作文中大谈特谈生活中的阴暗面,社会上的种种不公正现象,固然扣住了“阴影”,但别忘了材料中的辩证关系,还有“光明”。这不仅是偏题问题,恐怕还有认知问题。只看到“阴影”,看不到“光明”的主流。

③立意散乱,多头绪多中心,缺少集中意识、重点意识。 ④立意陈旧、一般,缺少新意和深刻。

这些误区常常是作文立意中的“雷区”,轻易不能碰。这也是给我们的警示。

如何让立意正确、集中

立意的要求是什么?从基础等级上看,就是正确、集中;从发展等级上看,就是深刻、新颖。这里先谈谈立意正确、立意集中。

所谓立意正确,就是立意要符合客观事物的认知规律,有着正确的价值取向,有着健康的情感态度。另外,必须符合题意,不跑题,不偏题。

所谓立意集中,就是聚焦观点,一篇文章只能提出一个观点,解决一个问题,太泛则滥,过大则空。

如何使立意正确、集中呢? (1)攻其一“点”,不计其余。

无论哪种命题,都会给考生以广阔的立意空间,往往可以从多个角度去立意,但关键是选准一个一触即发的“宝贵”的“点”。其实,这个“点”,就在作文试题的材料、导语、话题或标题中。

材料作文,若是抒情性材料(如诗歌),每一个意象就是一个角度,一个“点”;若是叙述性材料(如寓言、故事、现实生活现象),其中一人一事一景一物及其两者关系的组合就是一个角度,一个“点”;若是议论性材料(如格言、警句、论断的编组等),每一个观点及其对立面就是不同的角度。可据“象”探“质”,据果探因;可据材料中的矛盾关系、辩证关系分析内在的哲理。如2010年山东卷作文题,就是一个议论性材料作文,材料是托尔斯泰饱含哲理的一句名言。立意的“点”就定位在“光明”与“阴影”的辩证关系上。

命题作文,一般来说,标题本身或标题中的关键词语都含有多义性。其中有本义、引申义,也有比喻义、象征义。那么,每一个义项从宏观上看都有一个大的立意范畴,而每一个范畴从微观上看都又有许多小的角度或“点”。如2011年北京卷的作文,三位同学的观点自成一家,老师的总结精准到位,立意时可分别从每一位同学的角度立意:依据甲生之说,可立意为“成功源自实力”;依据乙生之说,可立意为“有竞争才利于均衡发展”;依据丙生之说,可立意为“提倡公平诚信,摒弃弄虚作假”。

(2)巧加词语,化大为小。

“大题”指题旨范围较宽泛、开放性强的文题,如“常识”、“见证”、“难题”、“早”、

“他们”等,可以采用加修饰语的办法来缩小立意、取材的范围。可在标题前面加修饰语,可在后面加中心词,还可以前后都加。如2009年广东卷作文题“常识”,前面可加“生活”、“医学”、“自然”、“科学”、“文化”、“哲

学”、“安全”、“道德”等,后面亦可加“特点”、“意义”、“利弊”、“发展”、“稳定与创新”等等。这样,层层加修饰语、中心词,立意的范围越来越小,越来越集中、明确。

(3)虚者实之,实者虚之。

“虚题”是指比较抽象的文题,一般从哲思、道理、精神层面来命题,如“角色转换之间”、

“北京的符号”、“见证”、“怀想天空”等。“实题”,一般从人、事、物、景等层面来命题,如“踮起脚尖”、“有句话常挂在嘴边”、“脸”、“灯”等。虚者实之,就是指以某个具体的人、事、物、景为载体,借实在的物象或事件去诠释抽象的命题。如2009年山东卷作文题“见证”,题目较大较虚,可以像当年一篇优秀作文那样具体为“见证历史的伤痛”,并以此为切入点,选用圆明园、奥斯维辛集中营、诺曼底登陆等材料,论证“对于伤痕与鲜血的见证,不仅仅是为了铭记,更是对后世的警示”这一中心,立意可谓明确、集中、主旨深远。

实者虚之,指构思立意由实到虚,由个别升华为一般,透过物象,深入本质,写出这类文题在思想或精神层面的象征意义。如2009年湖南卷作文题“踮起脚尖”,既是角度小的文题,又是一个很实在具体的题目。“踮起脚尖”是一个具体的动作,这个动作有很强的指向性。也许踮脚的人是想看得更高、更远,或者是想够到更高处的东西;也许是在跳舞,等等。这些都是其具体的意义。但写作时应该从这些具体的意义中引申出更抽象的内涵来。如“踮起脚尖”表现出一种对现状不满的抗争,一种永不言败的拼搏,一种对成功与卓越的追求……总之,“踮起脚尖”包含着一种奋发向上的愿望,一种努力前行的勇气,一种不懈探索的精神。这便是把具体的动作与抽象的生活哲理结合起来进而化实为虚的立意方法,运用这种方法,自然容易把文章导向深刻。

有的文题可实可虚,立意可以由实到虚,虚实转换。如2009年江苏卷作文题“品味时尚”,一篇考场作文是这样写的:开头先品味生活中的“服装”时尚,从牛仔裤到皮尔卡丹西服、鳄鱼T恤,体会到追逐时尚要领生活之潮流;接着紧密联系生活,品读“青春”,进而领悟到“青春”,不仅仅是追逐生活潮流,更
