The trip to Beijing

The day of our trip to Beijing finally arrived.My parents and I were very excited about this special trip because we all wanted to visit the Palace Museum,the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. It took us about two hours to fly there.The weather in Beijing is quite different from that in Wuxi.It’s much colder and drier.

The next day,we went to the Palace Museum.There were many people and we waited for a long time to buy the tickets.We saw a lot of works of art.They were really wonderfu.I liked them very much.On the third day ,we went to the Summer Palace.It was really great to walk on the Kunming Lake.

On the fourth day ,we went to the Great Wall to climb it. It looked really fantastic.

The food in Beijing was very nice.I love the Beijing Duck.It tasted very delicious.

We enjoyed the trip very much.

1.2 Lesson 2 以打电话的形式,要求学生学习如何邀请别人一起旅行以及一些旅行安排的表达方式。

1.3 Lesson 3要求学生通过学习本课能够询问及表达两地的距离,并掌握100以上数字的读法与写法。

1.4 Lesson 4以唱歌和对话的形式要求学生复习各种交通方式,并通过对比初步学习比较等级的形式及用法。

1.5 Lesson 5通过学习本课掌握一周七天的读法与写法,重点掌握如何作旅行计划,学会征询别人的意见。

1.6 Lesson 6通过学习Jenny和Li Ming做旅行准备的对话,重点复习this, that, these, those的用法,及谈论数量,提供帮助的表达方式。

1.7 Lesson 7通过本课学习购票的表达方式及劝阻他人不做某事的表达法,同时要求学生学会书面讲述令自己兴奋的一次经历。

We had a really unforgettable trip to Beijing last week. We had great fun there.

On April the 25th, we arrived at the train station at 3 in the morning.

We felt really sleepy. And the next day we reached Beijing. Beijing is

an old city that has a history of 3,000 years. So it was very beautiful

and very different from Changchun. That made us happy.

On the first day in the morning, we went to Bird’s Nest and the

Water Cube. They were very special. And we took many photos. On

the afternoon we went to the Peking University. I was very exciting

because I have a dream that I can be a student there. There was a

beautiful lake and a big library. We were all happy to see such a good

university. And then we went to the Temple of Heaven. On the next

day, we went to Tian'an Men Square. We watched a flag-raising

ceremony. Then we went to the Palace Museum. In the afternoon, we

went to the museum. We learned much about Chinese history. On the

third day, we climbed the Great Wall. When we get to the top, we felt

really tired but we were happy. Because Chinese people often say that

one who hasn’t got the Great Wall is not a true man. In the afternoon,

we went to China Science and Technology Mansion. There are many

interesting things and we learned much about science. On the last day,

we went to the Summer Palace. It was very beautiful there. At night,

we took the train to return. And also, we finish our trip.

After the trip, I felt so tired that I just wanted to go to sleep, but I

was really happy.
