Why do I want to be a teacher?

Why do I want to be a teacher? As far as I am concerned, I have a dream to be a teacher, since I was a child.

Why do I want to be a teacher? First of all, all occupations in the world, I think, those that teacher is important and glorious. The old saying goes ‘teacher is a spiritual engineer.’ I love this title. The teacher is great .A good teacher not only impart on the book knowledge but also broaden children’s intellectual horizon. Thus it can please every leaner. Then I want to be a teacher because of being deeply moved and affected by my first teacher and middle school teacher. Up to now, I still remember my first teacher who was disabled and teach us Chinese in my elementary school. He is professional teacher who own professional knowledge and skills, though he is disable. And he was never absent in our class. He is so very responsible for every student that he is at the cost of life. In the winter of 1998, it rained heavy snow and it remained cold for 2 weeks. It so happened that one afternoon he sent a girl at her house far away from our elementary school. Due to terrible weather, the teacher gets a kind of disease. But he insisted not to go to hospital and continued to work hard everyday. One week later, he passed away, when he was proofread students’ homework. Our, each student, remember and admire him, though so many years has passed. I want to be a teacher to accomplish his expectation that educate young flower.

Why do I want to be a teacher? My middle school teacher teaching English always can show many reason. She is beautiful, acute, and humorous, besides, mostly importance, she always attracted our attention and fractured us. At that time, we always felt that she own magical magic that can help us to avoid being published by our parents. And she always freely touched good contraction with every student. We were willing to tell her in confidence, and esteemed her as our sister. So I want to be a teacher like.

Why do I want to be a teacher? It’s my parents’ expectation, since I was in childhood. They own want to be a teacher, when they were young .Therefore they put their hope on me and gradually help me to form a consciousness of becoming a good teacher, when I was an elementary student .They always read some books for me which teachers said well and did well. To my surprised, When I entered the middle school, they not only ask me to study specialized course but also force me to learn the ways that how to be a good teacher. In order to meet their demand, I would like to be a teacher.

To be fact, it was not until I entered the university that I really understand the value of good teacher. So I want to be a teacher, and I am willing to accept this task…And I would like to pass seed to everyone.

Step 1 Greeting

Step 2 Lead-in

Today we are going to learn Unit 5: My Future. First,let’s listen to a

song:What You Wanna Be.

After listening, talk about the words about jobs with students.Then

ask some students about their dreams.

Step3 Reading

Let the students read the dialogue and fill in the blanks.
