The difficult point is how to express the adverbs of frequency in our daily life freely and correctly, and at the same time, pay attention to some difficult sentence patterns :Although many Ss like to watch sports, game shows are the most popular./ It’s good to relax by using……

Part 4. Analysis of students:

The Ss have learnt English for many years, they have deep interests in it, and the most important is that the topic relates to their daily life.

Well, how to achieve the teaching objects better, to stress the key point and break through the difficult point, the key is how to make use of the proper teaching methods, I’ll talk about my teaching methods below. Part 5. Teaching method:

According to the modern perception theories and social intercourse teaching theories. I adopt the Total Situational Action and Task-based Language Teaching.

At the same time, make use of all kinds of teaching means, such as ppt, flash-cards…it can mobilize the Ss’ enthusiasm and creativity in learning English.

Part 6. Teaching procedures

As to teaching procedures, I designed the following steps to achieve my teaching aims. They are “Revision and Lead-in ,presentation ,reading task, home work ,blackboard design.”

Step One: Revision and Lead-in

Greet the Ss and have a daily conversation to review the sentence pattern :How often do you do…..?I usually / often/sometimes …do….then I will show some topics that the Ss are interested in such as “what they usually do in their free time?”“How often do you surf the Internet?” to lead the three topics we’ll talk in the text.

(Purpose: According to the psychological characteristics of Ss, a relaxing conversation can make Ss feel pleased and satisfied, at the same

time it can also arouse exciting motion. And reviewing the sentence pattern they learnt can arouse the Ss participation desire, and lead the Ss into a thick English studying atmosphere. )

Step Two: Presentation

1. Do a suvey

do a survey about the frequency of exercise, use of Internet and watching TV among the Ss in their free time. First I will ask the Ss to discuss the frequency of exercise together and then divide the Ss into three groups to discuss the other two topics, finally I will ask some Ss to summary their results.

2. Discussion

According to the result of the survey, get the Ss to discuss which is the best way to relax and why? Let the Ss to talk about their own opinions freely and at last the teacher will sum them up.

(Purpose:To do a survey is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings of the text. Proper competition can arouse their interest in learning English. And in this part discussion can help the Ss take active part in the activities, especially for the Ss who have trouble in English. With no doubt, this will encourage the Ss to speak English bravely.) Step Three: Reading task

After finishing the discussion, the Ss will know much about the main idea of the text. It will be much easier for the Ss to understand the text by

themselves. So I will ask the Ss to do the following three steps all by themselves and I will give them a hand if they need.

1 pre-task

Ask the Ss to finish the pie chart by themselves after fast reading. Then check their answers.

一、教材分析:

教材的地位与作用:

本单元以“课余时间的活动”为话题展开教学活动。引导学生学会恰当地使用频率副词和短语以及描述课余时间的活动安排和基本饮食结构。本单元是刚从七年级升到八年级的学生学习的第一个单元也是第一节课,所以我对教材进行了一些处理适当降低了难度,通过复习七年级学习过的动词短语来引入对目标语言的学习,通过听力训练,各种方式的口语交际活动等,使学生积极参与,合作,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。人教版八年级上册英语说课稿

二、学情分析

本课教学对象为刚从七年级升入八年级的学生。这是他们在八年级学习的第一节英语课,所谓良好的开端就成功了一半。我们不仅要通过丰富多彩的教学活动来激发起学生对学习英语的兴趣而且要适当回顾旧知识降低难度,给学生一个过渡缓冲的机会,从而增强他们对学习英语的自信心。

三、教法学法分析

依据新课程理念,结合教学内容,我主要采用任务型教学法,并辅助情景交际教学法,指导学生使用观察法、小组合作法、调查法等学习方法,培养学生观察力、想象力以及思维能力;利用录音机、卡片、多媒体课件等调动学生的感官进行听、说、读、写训练。

四、教学过程:

1、导入

学生按教师的指令做动作

让学生按老师的指令做动作不仅可以调整学生的精神状态,同时又复习了一些动词,为新课做知识上的准备

2、呈现

(1)教师问:“What do you usually do on weekends ? ” (并且板书)引导学生根据自己的实际回答 I usually …… on weekends.以此引出各种动词短语,如watch TV、read books 、play basketball、go to movies等,教师出示动词卡片让学生快速认读。

(2)教师指着屏幕说:“ Now let’s see my activities on weekends. 屏幕上出现各项活动的图片并介绍。 I always read books at 6:00 in the morning. Then I usually run at 6:30. I clean my house in the afternoon. I watch TV, but I watch TV too much. I 点击鼠标屏幕上出现频率副词及相关的百分比。

3、操练

(1)制作卡片

每个学生把自己的课外活动和频率副词分别做成卡片,然后一个学生问What do you do on weekends? 另一个学生分别拿一张活动卡片和频率卡片并用其进行回答I often go to the movies.以此来巩固所学句型。

(2)听录音。让学生完成1b的练习培养学生的听力能力以及检验学生对新知识的掌握情况。

(3) 屏幕上出现一张一个女孩读书的图片,教师提问:

再点击图片出现副词often 引导学生回答 She often reads books.

通过师生互动、生生互动等多项活动的操练之后,学生已经基本掌握了人称的转换。

今天我所说的是人教版初中英语新目标八年级(上)Unit 6 I am going to be a basketball player.( Section A)的内容。下面我将从教材、教学目标、教学重难点、教法和学法、教学过程以及设计理念来说说本节课的教学设计。首先,我想对本节教材进行一些分析:

一、教材的结构与内容简析:

本节内容在全书及单元的地位:本节课的内容属于初中英语八年级(上)第六单元Section A的内容,其中心话题是学习用be going to谈论理想的职业。它本课时的学习是为后面Section B及一般将来时的学习做铺垫,所以它在教材中起着承上启下的作用。 通过本节课的学习学生要能对be going to表示“将来” 这一结构有一个基本的了解,并能初步运用这个结构进行交谈。根据上述的分析,考虑到学生已有的认知结构,我制定如下的教学目标 :

四、教法和学法

为使学生达到本节课我所设定的教学目标,我再从教法和学法上谈一谈:

我认为要上好一堂课,教师要认真分析教材,选择恰当的教法。新的课程观认为:英语教学要注重培养学生应用语言进行交际的能力,教学中应遵循“为用而学,在用中学,学了就用”的原则。基于本节课的特点,我重点采用任务型教学法,将布置任务进行小组交流活动贯穿整堂课。在教学过程中,我注意创设情境,采用多种教法通过听、说、读、写的训练

(1)创设情境,导入新课

首先,老师以图片的方式让学生猜学过的表示职业的名词 。然后以相同的方式引出并学习新单词pilot, actor, computer programmer, engineer和basketball player。

(设计说明) 以学生喜闻乐见新颖活泼的形式学习新单词,为学生创造轻松愉快的学习气氛, 激发学生的好奇心,既让学生轻松的完成了教学重点中的目标词汇的学习,又为目标语言的学习打下伏笔。 学完最后一个新单词教师问学生Who do you think is the most famous basketball player?大多数学生会回答Yao Ming。 老师接着问Do you like him? Are you going to be a basketball player like Yao Ming when you grow up?有的学生会说Yes,有的会回答No。这样就自然的引出目标语言What are you going to be when you grow up? I’m going to be a\an接着,我让学生展开讨论,学生两人一组的进行问答练习。说出自己喜爱的职业,处理教材1a部分。

(设计说明) 通过许多学生熟悉喜欢的姚明,轻松自然的引出目标语言,由旧知到新知,循序渐进,激发学生学习新知识的兴趣。

(2)强化句型,体验感悟。

以表格的形式将1a的结果列出来,我用If you are going to be a basketball player,how are you going to do that? 启发学生这些职业的人经常要做些什么?引出动词词组practice basketball、take acting lessons、study computer science、study math really hard。接着布置任务,要求学生用In Pairs的方式用黑板上的目标词汇和语言进行操练,这样操练完句型后学生能轻松地完成1b\2a\2b的听力练习。

(设计说明) 反复操练是记忆的一个重要方法,通过操练来巩固单词,强化句型,从而更好地掌握和使用句型,化难为易、扫除障碍,轻松完成目标语言的学习。

(3)合作交流,突破难点

最后作业的布置是本节课的收尾工作,针对学生的差异性我把作业分成两种:1)进一步完善采访活动,使用本节课的目标语言以短文的形式记录采访内容;2)写一篇题为“My dream job”的短文。学生可以根据自己的实际情况选做其一。

(设计说明) 这样的安排的目的是使基础薄弱的学生能巩固基础知识,而使学有余力的学生有所提高,从而达到了拔尖和“减负”的目的。

Ss have learned the Present Progressive Tense in the last unit. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. And ,this lesson are about weather and what people usually do in the different weather. It’s related to our daily life,so Ss must have taken a great interest in this lesson now.

Part Three Teaching methods

In this topic,I will use Task-based Method, Communicative Method, Group

Co-operate method. I think if I want to improve the students’ oral English,I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair work,group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities.That is “Learning by

doing,learning by using”.

Part Four Teaching Procedures

Step 1 Lead-in

The purpose is to arouse the students’ interest of study. I’ll talk about dreams with students for minutes. What jobs do you want to have in the future? A doctor or an actor? Maybe some boys want to be soldiers? Do you want to work as a journalist? OK, if you are a journalist and you want to give a report, how can you express yourself clearly? Now there is a report on our book, please turn to Page 35. Step2 Presentation

1.Now turn to Page 35.Look at 3a. This is a report. Yuan Yuan is reporting for CCTV’s Around The World show. She talks about the things from several aspects. 2.Then go back to the question in the title. Underline the things that people are doing. Circle the words that describe the weather. We’ll do the job on the blackboard together.

3.Next we read the report carefully and talk about the grammar points in it. Show the grammar points on the screen. By this way, students can comprehensive the article better. And it’s also helpful to improve the writing skills of students.

Step4 3b

Look at the pictures of France. Encourage students to describe the pictures by

themselves. Don’t be worried about making mistakes. Ask several students to show their description to the whole class. The purpose is to improve students’ oral English. Then fill in the blanks. Try to finish it by themselves. Check the answer on the blackboard . Read the article and translate it for the whole class at last.

Step5 Survey

In this part, I’ll ask students to practice the conversation in pairs. Ask your classmates what they do in different kinds of weather. Make a list.

eg. A: What do you usually do when it’s raining?

B: I usually read a book.

A: What do you usually do when it’s sunny?

B: I usually swim in a river.

By this way, students can get enough chance to practice their oral English and develop students’ interest of English.

Step6 Summary

During my teaching,I’ll try my best to get my class alive and encourage the students to talk with each other in English.I think the general aim of English teaching is to improve the ability of using English. Ask the Ss finish 1b. I think it’s easy for them to do it after Part 2. In order to improve their reading ability, I will ask them to read the dialogue , because listening is insparable from reading.

Tell the Ss: The transportation we choose mainly depends on how far the places are, different distances, we’ll choose different transportations,and different transportations ,

It will take different time.

Then let the Ss look at the list, ask them to discuss : “How do they get to school?”
