The first obvious change is people’s expenses on food in 2006 decreased from 66% to 36%,which indicates that people have happily get rid of hunger and have less worry about the supply of food. Besides people have food of better quality to keep fit.
The second change is more extra money is spent on clothing, recreation and others, which tend to increase as years go by. For instance, in 2006 people only spent 9% of their total income on clothing while in2010 the expense rose to 16%, which shows people are more concerned about their appearance and social communication. As for recreation, the table indicates a rapid rise from 4% in 2006 to 11% in 2010 and the tendency is strong enough to predict a further dramatic increase of changes in people’s daily expenses.
What is shown in the table indicates that dramatic changes have taken place in people’s daily expenses from 2006 to 2010.The expenses on food have dropped by 30% while the cost on clothing and recreation have increased by 7%.
There are two reasons for these changes. First, development in economy plays an important role. The increased income is the key to the fall of the expense on food. Another change is people’s lifestyle. When food presents no worry, people begin to attach more attention to clothing and leisure time.
