City is the unit we live in the world or in a country. Groups of people get together to form a village, then a town, a city. But nowadays, some cities appear and attract our eyes for some special reasons. Every city has its own character for its different history and development. So in my opinion, cities can be divided into several kinds of groups on the basis of its function.
The first kind of city is comprehensive city. Comprehensive city which I refer to here is the city with the population of over 2 million and strong political and economic power. Most of them are the administrative center of province or special administrative region, such as Beijing, Wuhan, and Hong Kong.
The city which is famous for its economic function is the second kind of city I classified. Those cities are developed from a port, a railway transfer hub and a base for wood processing in an important forest zone. For example, Yichun is a city located in northeast of Heilongjiang province which near Russia. As we know, Greater Khingan Range stretches from Neimenggu to Heilongjiang. Yichun is an essential city near Greater Khingan Range, rich in wood resources. Local people develop its economics relying on its wood processing and different herbs. To reserve the precious natural resources and protect environment, the local government takes measures to make a sustainable development.
They try their best to make full use of every tree Instead of cutting trees wildly. Now, Yichun is both famous for its cyclic economy at home and abroad.
The third kind of city is noted for its tourism resources or historical sites. China is a country with long history, many peoples and vernacular culture. No wonder that ethnic characters can be found everywhere. Suzhou, an ancient watery town, is named “Oriental Venice”. It lies in the Yangzi plain near the East Sea. In history, many emperors choose this region for their capital so that Suzhou is the most typical city in china. Kunqu opera, Suzhou embroidery, suzhou gardens, these are the quintessence of chinese culture which we can not ignore. Suzhou is the epitome of China.
Although I classified cities into three parts, cities developed as they want. The trend is that the function of cities becomes more and more integrated. They no longer just do well in one aspect but the whole. Even a small tourist can make their economics powerful. An old city can be changed into a brand new one.

A PLACE LINGERING IN MY MEMORY
The place I cherish most in my memory is called The Protection Community which used to be my home for 12 years. It looked neither splendid nor noble, but the cozy and plain one haunted often in my mind.
While I was 11, it was declared to be reconstructed to an instant noodles factory so that we had to move away.
I still remember the vague structure of it. The entrance of the community stood a huge iron gate. On the left of the gate was a buffet, the shopkeeper of which was also in charged as a guard. On the right of the gate was a stall for breakfast, the shopkeeper of which used to my neighbor. As you walked into the gate, there was a long main road straight forwards to a black pot. It witnessed many things of mine as a fresh starter such as the first time to ride a bicycle, the first time to skate, the first time to fly a kite, etc. It was more than I can count. Every night of the weekend we would gather on this road to have fun. It was a habit more than a gather for us. There were three buildings ranked one after one on the left of the road. They were not the same as what we have now. Each layer had seven home residents, and the household were the side by side instead of facing with another. Also the doors were made of screen opened for a whole day instead of thick iron closed for a whole day. During the hot days, we all took out our mats on the corridor, I really miss the life there. On the right of the road you could some
bungallowsand, pool and cropland During the summer, we might swim in the pool as well as playing with frogs, butterflies, dragonflies, mantis and locusts in the cropland. It’s a pity that I have rarely seen some of these species these days. At the end of the road was a garage opened by my classmate’s parents. All the kids in our community were almost in the same school and even some of us were in the same class, we went to school together in a tricycle which is not so common now. That’s also made us more close to each other.
How I wish I could have a camera at that time so that I could record down the precious fragment of my life in the past few years!

面对这次英语的考试成绩，我觉得非常的惭愧，学生分数差距让我陷入了深深的教学反思之中。我想我很有必要查找和分析其中的原因了，而且是非常紧迫。
一、首先，我觉得最重要的原因之一就是我对学生真实的英语学习状况不够了解。一开始我觉得他们能考进高中，说明他们的学习状况还是可以的，我对他们比较放心的。于是我对他们的要求就尝试了侧重自主学习，强调英语的预习和复习，指导他们自己整理《笔记本》和《纠错本》。。并且我也注重和他们强调初高中的上课模式和学习方法是有所区别的。老师和学生之间有一个彼此适应和磨合的过程，我们一起共同努力。然而经过一段时间的上课，我发现，他们的自觉性和自学能力和我的预想相差太大，很多靠自己自觉完成的整理和巩固均未很好去做。上课反复强调过的语言点，练习中一模一样做过的题目，讲评订正过依然错误率极高。学生学习上的问题一是说明上课效率和效果极差;二是课后没有及时复习巩固;三是没弄明白的题目没有问。
二、我觉得另一重要原因就是我对学生真实的英语学习水平不够了解。自从我接班以来，我试图尽我自己最大的努力来了解学生。从以前他们的中考成绩，学习基础来看，两极分化存在还是比较严重的，，但我很有信心能帮助学生提高英语成绩。有同学提出单词不会读，我就一遍又一遍地领读。平时上课时除了讲述新课的内容，还联系了以前初中的知识要点，做到知识的迁移和提升。在教学中我越来越发现学生初中的知识很不理想，所以，我指导基础较弱的学生复习巩固初中的基础知识;对学有余力的学生加强课外阅读。很多同学的笔记记得相当认真，学习积极性和课后问问题的同学也多了。再加上月考也比以前有进步。所以综合以上情况，我对这个班的教学很有信心，也很放心。然而，也许就是因为我太放心了，所以这次的成绩完全出乎我的意料，让我很不知所措。我想我也许对他们的真实情况还不够了解透彻吧。于是我找了很多同学进行了一次深谈。发现上课的笔记是认真记的，但是回去的复习巩固工作就做得很差了。作业不认真应付老师，所以作业质量不高。有些任课老师的作业较多，也较严格严厉，不敢怠慢，所以英语的很多软性复习也就一点一点的得过且过了。班级没有学习特别尖的同学在班里带头，大家的学习竞争力不强，英语考试高分没有，平均分就更低了。{对英语认识的说明书400字}.
三、对学习任务检查落实不够、对学生作业和资料的完成督促落实不到位，部分学生学习偷工减料，学科学习欠账较多，考试成绩自然差了。以后我要一切从头开始帮他们好好补了。至于采取措施就是我要抓的更到位些，更严格些，做到事事有着落，件件有落实。此外，英语学习效率低下也是导致学习成绩提不上去的重要原因。
总之，反思是为了让自己更好地面对现实，而面对现实是为了更好地提高以后的教学。调整教学思路，加大学习督查力度，教学相长是今后提高工作效率的重要途径。
