GOOD HEALTH

The desire for good health is universal. Especially nowadays, the possession of good health is regarded by nearly every one as essential to a happy life as well as a successful one. Only in good shape can you expect to live comfortably or work ef fectively. In contrast, without good health, ambitious and promising as a person may be, he will eventually turn out to be a wreckage of modern life.

How to stay healthy, then? First, enough time should be set aside for perse vering in exercises in addition to sleep and rest. Second, you must give up the habits that damage your health, such as smoking and drinking too much alcohol. Finally, be sure to have your physical checkup regularly. Whenever you are found to haveany disease, you should have it timely treated.

As for me, I have always been taking care to have proper sleep and relaxation. I have also been alert to any discomfort in my body. In my spare time I like running, swimming, and playing table tennis. So, I can keep fit and pursue my career with great facility.

The desire for good health is universal. In our competitive society it is important to maintain good health. On the one hand, people with good health can do work with full confidence and their progress in work in turn contributes to their health and happiness. On the other hand, a sick person is usually not interested in everything around him and therefore he loses many opportunities to become successful.

There are many ways to keep it. First, those who are always on the go from morning till night should find time to relax because too much stress will affect their health. Second, enough time should be left for sleep because that will help one become rested and refreshed. Finally, regular physical exercises benefit one's health a lot. So one should always keep in mind that a certain amount of exercise is not a waste of time.

As for me, I like playing tennis in the morning. I also attach much importance to enough sleep and relaxation. I believe this will ensure my good health for the rest of my life.

good health is an essential part of a happy life. The best way to keep fit, in my opinion, is to do regular exercises. I believe only by striking a balance between work and relaxation can I have a healthy body and an intelligent mind.

We students can'' t keep the high study efficiency without good health. The same thing is true with workers, scientists and doctors.

As is known to us all,we college students bears many of the expectations from others.They expect us to succeed and to have a splendid future.Therefore,they attach great importance to our success.But what matters to college students’success?

As far as I’m concerned,there are six aspects that matter to college students’success.

Firstly,academic success is important because it is strongly linked to the positive outcomes we value for children. Academically successful students will have more employment opportunities than those with less education.In addition,they are prone to earn higher salaries.Furthermore, they are more likely to have health insurance and be less dependent on public assistance. Finally, academically successful adolescents have lower levels of depression and anxiety.That is to say,they are easy to keep a positive spirit.

Secondly, critical thinking is a part of the education process and is increasingly significant as students progress. Critical thinking is considered important in the academic fields because it enables one to analyze, evaluate, explain, and restructure their thinking.As a result,learning how to have a critical thinking is vital in college students’success. Critical thinking calls for a lot of abilities.For example, finding workable means for meeting problems,recognizing unstated assumptions and values , reconstructing one's patterns of beliefs on the basis of wider experience. Thirdly,cultural awareness is the foundation of communication and it involves the ability of standing back from ourselves and becoming aware of our cultural values, beliefs and perceptions. Cultural awareness becomes central when we have to interact with people from other cultures.So we ought to manage cultural diversity. We are generally acknowledged that the first step in

managing diversity is to recognize it and learning not to fear it.For instance,be brave to admit that you don’t know and become comfortable with ambiguity.

Forthly,motivation is this energy to study, to learn and achieve and to maintain these positive behaviors over time.In addition,motivation is what stimulates students to acquire, transform, and use the knowledge.Therefore,we are supposed to understand and increase our motivation.First of all, establish a learning-oriented environment.Next, learn to recognize and capitalize on your intrinsic interests and natural needs for competence, curiosity satisfaction, and achievement. Then,set and attain realistic goals. Last but not least,take initiative in your learning.

Fifthly, ‘whole person education’ aims at achieving a balanced and comprehensive development of the body-mind-spirit. That is, it aims at developing the totality of a human being.In this sense, ‘whole person education’ plays an important role in college students’success.

A ‘whole person education’ calls for both ‘diligence’ and ‘sincerity’, as these provide the core foundation for a child to excel in the future.We believe that only through a ‘whole person education’ approach can a child be stimulated to develop his/her full potential as well as the capability to cope with all kinds of real-life challenges.

Lastly,we should learn to learn. Many students don’t understanding the true meaning of learning.Let’s take grades for example. Many students, especially those new to college, do not have a clear understanding of what it takes to be successful in the college environment. For other students, the focus is too easily shifted from learning to grades.There is no doubt that the latter know how to learn better.
