It is a famous saying that practice makes perfect. The truth of it is self-evident. The more you practice, the more skillful you will be. Moreover, you will find better ways of doing things. As everyone can see, practice helps us to be efficient.
When we study English, we have so much to learn, such as grammar, vocabulary. In order to learn it well, we need much practice. We must read a lot, write a lot and listen a lot. Only through practice can we have a good command of it. Remember to practice if you want to speak English fluently and express yourself freely.
Another case in point is typing. A good typist can type fast and accurately. But you will not be surprised at her performance if you know how much time he/she has spent practicing. Through practice, he/she has both typing speed and accuracy improved.
It goes without saying that practice makes perfect. Since all of us have realized the importance of practice, why not put it into practice?

A famous saying goes that “practice makes perfect”. It means when people are learning to do something new, they will be good at it after practicing over and over again.
I have had such experience for many times. In learning English it’s especially obvious. To learn English well, we must read more , speak more, listen more and write more. At the beginning, I couldn’t speak English fluently, so I took every chance to practice such as going to the English corner talking to foreigners, reading English aloud in the morning, and even speaking to myself, from time to time. I insisted for a long time and to my delight, my spoken English was much better than before. It’s also the same in English listening and writing, etc.
Another example, when people begin learning to type, they are not familiar with the key board and can’t type fast. As long as they can insist on practicing, it is certain that one day they will grasp it and become very skillful and fast.
I like this saying–practice makes perfect, which encourages me to practice more and more till I reach perfect.

北宋时期有个叫陈尧盗的人，射箭技术极为高超，常因此而骄傲。 有一天，他在家里练习射箭。有一个卖油的老人，正好从他射箭的地方经过。由于围着看他射箭的人很多，老人家很好奇，就放下油桶，站在一旁看射箭。
不一会儿，陈尧咨就将十支箭全都射中靶心。围观的人看到这里，佩服不已，纷纷竖起大拇指夸奖他，只有那个老人一句话也不说，脸上一副不以为然的样子。
陈尧咨感到非常奇怪，就上前问道：“老人家，您会射箭吗？” “我不会射箭。”老人平静地答道。
“那你凭什么不为我喝彩？”陈尧咨不客气地问。
“我觉得你的箭射得不算坏，但不过是手熟罢了，实在没有什么妙处，不值得喝彩。”老人说。

老人没有直接回答陈尧咨，只是不慌不忙地从身上拿出一个葫芦放在地上，接着又摸出一枚铜钱放在葫芦口上。然后，从油桶里妥

9. Sand and Stone
The story goes that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an
argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
