一、教学内容及其解析

本节课要学的内容是泛读指的是了解文章大意,其关键是把握文章信息点,理解它关键就是要理解文章标题,把握各个段落的大概内容。学生已经学过英语幽默艺术的一些国际大师级人物,本节课的内容了解文章大意就是在此基础上的发展。由于它还与第三、四课时语言知识点有密切的联系,所以在本学科有重要的地位,并有铺垫的作用,是本单元的重点内容。教学的重点是文章大意的理解,解决重点的关键是通过快速阅读迅速把握文章信息,了解文章大意。

二、教学目标及其解析

1. 目标定位:理解文章标题的含义以及文章大意。知道卓别林的基本情况(生卒年代、职业等)

2. 目标解析:理解文章标题的含义,就是指能够知道这个标题在字面上、文章内容上与文化内涵上的意思,作者为什么要选用这个标题,从而在整体上把握住文章大意。

三、问题诊断及其分析

在本节课的教学中,学生可能会对文章中的某些句子理解有一定的困难。产生这一困难的原因是学生对文章中部分单词不熟悉。要解决这一问题,就要扩大学生的词汇量,其中关键是掌握科学有效的方法记忆单词。

四、教学支持条件分析

在本节课熟悉课文大意的教学中,准备利用多媒体展示卓别林的基本情况。因为使用多媒体展示图片和短片更直观,有利于学生把握文章脉络。

在高中新课改的实施过程中,阅读课涉及的内容越来越丰富,要求学生了解的东西也越来越多,加上高一学生基础知识与基本技能的不足,所以学生在课堂阅读中遇到的难度也在不知不觉加大。那么,在课堂阅读中指导学生恰当地使用阅读技巧,并合理设置有效的课堂活动,帮助他们顺利理解文章,提高阅读能力,成为教师教学设计的重心。本节课的教学设计正是围绕这个重心展开的。

一、教材分析

本节课为人教版英语必修四第三单元第二课时的阅读课。本单元的中心话题是“幽默”,这节课以“非语言幽默大师”为题,介绍世界著名的电影演员,喜剧大师查理·卓别林以及他在无声电影时代的精湛表演,特别是在著名电影《淘金记》中,他运用滑稽、夸张的动作表情,让观众在捧腹大笑之余体会在琐屑、卑微之中所隐藏的深刻本质。

二、学生分析

本文是一篇描写人的文章,涉及幽默这一话题,学生阅读兴趣较大,但高一学生由于英语基础知识和基本技能都是一般水平,因此调动学生学习兴趣很关键。本文难度适中,加之第一课时的热身训练已经让学生对不同地域与国家的幽默表现有了一定的了解,所以这节课在激发学生阅读兴趣的同时,通过组织丰富的课堂活动,促进学生的探究式、自主式学习,让学生成为课堂的主体,从而进一步提高他们的英语阅读方法与技能。考虑到学生的个体差异,教学过程中设计的活动要兼顾不同学习水平的学生,使全班所有学生都能积极参与课堂活动,主动探索,勇于表现,学有所获,从而使学生真正成为课堂的主人,体现新课改的精神实质。

三、教学目标分析

知识目标:

了解非语言形式的幽默艺术。

了解卓别林的生平以及他在无声电影中的精湛表演。

帮助学生习得并掌握本文出现的词汇、语言表达方式,同时欣赏文章中的优美句式。 能力目标:

帮助学生进一步提高阅读中猜词义、略读、查读、跳读、归纳、总结等能力。 引导学生进一步了解与体会V-ing形式在文中的呈现。

1.通过限时阅读、速读等阅读方法逐步提高学生的阅读技巧。

2.课堂活动的设计体现循序渐进,引导学生自主探究地学习与互动,帮助学生打开思维空间。

(三)【情感态度与价值观目标】

1.通过对幽默的了解以及对卓别林的走近,鼓励学生保持乐观的人生态度,培养幽默感,陶冶情操。

2.欣赏文中的优美句子,激发学生的语言学习兴趣与热情。

七、课后反思

教学成功之处:

1为本节课自制的教学课件,节约了课堂时间,增大了课堂容量,课堂显得紧凑有序。课件中采用的一些生动形象的图片,活跃了课堂气氛,调动了学生参与阅读的积极性,使学生读后对卓别林,特别是他扮演的小流浪汉留下了深刻的印象。

2.整个教学过程的设计符合学生的认知规律,由易到难的活动设计引导学生进行探究式学习。在老师指导下学生逐渐参与阅读的各个活动,体现了学生学习的主体地位和教师的主导作用,通过师生互动、个体竞争、生生合作、分组讨论等形式在整堂课中贯穿着对学生各种阅读能力的培养。

教学不足之处:

由于学生的个体差异,所设计的每一项活动并不能确保全体学生都热情参与,英语水平低的学生还是未能深刻理解文章,一些学生不适应节奏快的教学过程,未能对所有问题进行积极思考。在以后的教学中,我会将回答简单问题的机会更多地留给中下层学生,以期逐渐调动他们的学习积极性。

“自言自语法”,即以自己跟自己交流的方式,促成英语口语能力提高之方法。它不受时间及其他交流因素的限制,只要有一个属于你的空间,自己对着自己用英语讲就可以了。中国人较内向,在公开场合羞于开口,因此,此方法是提高英语口语的有效方法。

1、自主创造语言环境 在自己的房间里,没有人会笑话你,尽可以大胆他说。你可以在散步时说给风儿,说给花草树木;你可以在欣赏影片时跟着主人公倾诉喜怒哀乐。

2、善于模仿 一要大声模仿。模仿时要大大方方,清清楚楚,一板一眼,口型要到位,不能扭扭捏捏、的小声小气地在嗓子眼里嘟嚷。二要仔细模仿优美的语音、的语调。

3、及时复述 一是阅读后用“自言自语”的方式来表达文中的内容。二是听磁带或看影片后复述。既练听力,又练口语表达能力。

5、说话时要带手势、动作、表情 自言自语时带手势、的动作、的表情,可以帮助你记忆和自然地使用英语,大大增强语言的生动性和感染力。

Introduction

In this period, after the warming up, students will first be guided to read aloud to the recording. Then they will read and underline and read to identify the topic sentence of each paragraph. The discourse study can also be done by students reading to decide on the type of writing and summary of the text and reading the text to turn out a diagram. The text can be used for retelling the story.

What is ―Humor‖? Does any one of you know anything about humor? Look at the screen and read the definition of Humor from the Internet.

Humor (humour in British English) is the ability or quality of people, objects or situations to

invoke feelings of amusement in other people. The term encompasses any form of entertainment

or human communication which invokes such feelings, or which makes people laugh or feel happy.

Humor is particular to each culture. For example, the British laugh at things that are ridiculous and enjoy parody very much.
