Many people came here, even a lot of people standing in the back because we didn’t have enough chairs. There is a program in which called’ News Broadcast’, in this program, two host just like cctv’s host, but content only about our daily life, it is Close to our life, And this is true of every out’s life, really funny.
You see the weather is getting colder and colder,
We increasingly do not want to go out, just like Chinese word ’zhai’. Gradually accustomed to university life, sometimes fund don’t know to do what. Maybe I need spend much more time in the library.

Its rainy day today, and what happened in November The 22nd really shocked us. The English Diary Oct26th,2010 It's very cold today and the wind is heavy in our university.I have the feeling that the winter is coming.

years.Therefore,many different natural disaster happens,like the snow disaster,earthquake in 2008,the

environment protection organizations consider different measure to protect our environment,the result is not
effective.So all of us should do our best to protect our home in case that we can't find our home a few years later.In my view,as some people say,the "2012"may come if the environment is not protect well.
The winter is coming,it make me think that the essay of Rush."Swallows may have gone,but there is a time of
return;willow trees may have died back,but there is a time of regreening;peach blossoms may have fallen,but they will bloom again……Why should our days leave us,never to return？

Gold outlook positive for 2011 on
strong demand
BEIJING – The global outlook for gold demand
remains robust throughout 2011 against the background
of another strong quarter, geographic and sectoral
diversity of demand, and strong fundamentals, the World
Gold Council (WGC) said Thursday.
In a report about gold demand trends in the first
quarter this year issued on its website, the WGC said
factors such as continued uncertainty over the US
economy and the dollar, ongoing European sovereign
debt concerns, global inflationary pressures and tensions
in the Middle East and North Africa will continue to drive
investment demand for gold.
The WGC predicts that sustained momentum in
the demand for Chinese and Indian jewelry will also
support growth in the jewelry sector throughout 2011.
The WGC expects net purchasing by central banks
to continue in 2011 as central banks turn to gold as a
means of diversifying reserves.
"The resilience of gold during recent volatility in
the commodities market exemplifies the strength of the global gold market and its unique demand drivers," said Marcus Grubb, managing director of investment at the WGC.
Elite members sought for luxury club in ancient palace
BEIJING – Another plan to convert an ancient
palace site into a luxury club has reportedly been
uncovered, this time in the Chengde Mountain Resort, a royal complex of palaces and temples from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in Hebei province. The exposure comes hot on the heels of several such discoveries of commercial ventures within cultural heritage sites.
The club, which was reportedly set for the
yurt-shaped palaces in the northern part of the Chengde Mountain Resort, was to have started operations in June and is currently recruiting members, according to an advertisement. Registered members, the ad says, will be able to enjoy imperial banquets and other superior services.
The first 100 members would need to deposit 200,000 yuan ($30,700) for their future spending at the club in order to join. Latecomers may have to pay an extra 100,000 yuan in membership fees, a service clerk was quoted by Yanzhao Metropolis Daily as saying on Thursday.
When China Daily tried to confirm the fees, a staff member said the club could not give more information because detailed rules will not be published until June.
An official in charge of investment at the Chengde Commission of Development and Reform confirmed on Thursday that the "building of such a private club on a cultural site must get construction approval first".
"But we haven't received any application related to commercial operations in that royal garden up to now," the official said.

After that, he often sighed miserably that due to his past busy life, he had missed a lot of beautiful time with his wife. But now, it is impossible to make up for it.

expressed his strong desire for staying more with his father, going to see a movie with his father, etc. Not until his son committed suicide had the doctor realized that the most precious thing is not career achievement, but the tight and intact family bonds.
It is no use crying over spilt milk. We have
missed a lot of precious things in our life without knowing to cherish them.
Actually, I also missed something precious

We would often claim to do something when we grow up, or when we have oney or when we become old, etc. However, when we reach the condition we have expected, we could no longer do realize our wish any more, because we have lost it by then.
Five Months Older
The Second World War had begun, and John

This is the first day, our summer vacation. I was very happy. Why? Because there are two months of time doing what I love to do, although we have some homework. Today I went out looking for my friend . They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new life. We haven’t enough time to play, to waste and to lose the way. We only have two years. Two years to go, we will get the real life which belongs to us.

The sun was shining really brightly. We could hear the birds singing outside the window. It was a fine day!
I went to the City Wildlife Park with my classmates by bus. We arrived there at 8:00. When I got out of the bus, some of us had rushed into the gate of the park. First, we visited the golden monkeys. They were lovely and cute. They jumped from this tree to another tree which was about two meters away. That was amazing, wasn't it? And then we watched an animal show. They danced like humans. They could do
everything we asked them to do. After that we visited safari park. All kinds of animals could be seen there, such as tigers, lions, deer and goats. I loved lions best, because they were the king of the forest, they are so powerful. I wished I could be strong just like them !
How lovely they were! They were my friends! They could smile and cry just like human beings. We should regard them as our friends, and we should not hurt them , instead, we should protect them! They need our help!

English Diary
October 16th, Saturday
Today is Saturday. I got up very early. When I pushed open my window, a light went into my room. Oh, the sun was shining brightly. I thought I would have a good feeling all day because I would go to the City Wildlife Park. I was so happy that I forgot the time. It s seven o clock. I must take a bus. As soon as I got on the bus, the bus moved. I was just on time. At about half past eight, we arrived.
At first, I visited the golden monkey house. There were all kinds of golden monkeys in it. The monkeys looked like some naughty children. They climbed up and down and made us laugh. Then I saw a show called Animal Show . It was quite interesting.
In the afternoon, I took a bus to visit the safari park. I could see tigers, lions, deer and many other animals.
The animal I liked best is the parrots. They could speak. Oh, so lovely!
When I came back, I realized deeply that human beings should take good care of animals because all of them are our best friends, and to protect them is to protect ourselves.

Recently, I have seen an impressive film—“Meet the Parents”, which is about a woman Palm brought her boyfriend Greg to her parents’ home to spend holiday. In the film, Greg was so dishonest to Palm’s parents that Palm’s father is suspicious of his behavior and quality. As a result, Greg is obnoxious to all and has to leave. As far as I am concerned, the consequence is heavily caused by his dishonesty. If Greg could be real him all the time, he would get much respect and appreciation and would not get much frustration. From the film, I have learned that being honest was extremely important and necessary. In other words, being honest is a basic principle for us to deal with others
Nowadays, there has appeared a heated discussion among the college students as to whether they should live alone outside the campus or live together with other roommates in the students' dormitory. Opinions are divided over the matter.
Those who are in favor of living alone maintain that it is very convenient to live by themselves. They can enjoy absolute freedom in a room of their own. They can have their own timetable without disturbing others. They are also free to equip the room with a personal computer so that they can have easy access to the Internet.
But others argue that living with roommates has attractions of its own. With several students sharing the same room, each person's experiences can be greatly enriched. They can learn a lot from talking to one another. By learning to tolerate the differences between individuals, they can become more mature.
As far as I'm concerned, I prefer to ive with roommates because I love the feeling of belonging. Besides, it is a lot cheaper to live in a dorm than to rent an apartment outside the campus
