在市场经济迅猛发展的今天，金钱扮演着非常重要的角色。我们的生活中离不开金钱。可以说没有金钱，我们的生活将会寸步难行。甚至“有钱能使鬼推磨”的这种说法也在蛊惑着人心，可见在现代社会，金钱是十分重要的。
“金钱是饭，是衣，是车，是房”。的确如此老百姓的衣、食、住、行都离不开金钱。“人为财死，鸟为食亡”，可见是金钱主宰着人类，而人类只不过是虚假的金钱拥有者，甚至是金钱的牺牲品。
金钱是房，它可以是住房亦可以是牢房。现代社会，有关金钱的违法犯罪行为日益增多，而且也不是什么骇人听闻的事件。可见人们已经习惯于听到这种消息了。犯罪分子为了金钱，可以做出极度伤天害理，违背良心的事。
但是金钱不是完全没有好处的。现在我国的综合国力之所以有所提高，最重要的原因之一就是经济水平总体提高了。国家实行优厚的政策，对在校学生实行“两免一补”的政策，对居民发放最低生活保障金，这些都使老百姓过上了好的生活。国家给予他们的，不仅是金钱上的帮助，更是心灵上的帮助。着名歌手从飞一生致力于扶贫事业，甚至在他病危之迹，依然惦记着那些可怜的失学儿童。他让许多孩子重返校园，燃起了对生活的希望。
回顾一些文学作品，我们又不得不对金钱另眼相看。
法国着名短篇小说之王莫泊桑的《我的叔叔于勒》一文，相信很多人都读过，也可能感触颇深。虚伪冷酷的菲利普夫妇竟然可以为了金钱而不认自己的亲弟弟。我们可以想象当时整个社会都可能如此：人与人之间已经不再是感情的关系，而是赤裸裸的金钱关系。这样的病态社会不得不让人叹息与深思。金钱，它给感情这个东西镶上了一圈外表华丽，内部空虚的金边。
因此我们都应该明白，在现代社会，金钱不是万能的，但没有钱是万万不能的。而最重要的，就是我们应该如何看待金钱，使用金钱！

“请你为一种从未用过的化妆品做广告，且报酬十分的吸引人，你将如何？”有个观众这样问一个演员。
“我一定会做的！”演员斩钉截铁地回答。
一个不起眼的回答，我们就看出这个演员首先考虑的不是产品的质量，而是自己的利益，他把丰厚的报酬看作是他全部的财富。
有的人说：人为财死，鸟为食亡，人活着就是为了钱。他们把金钱当作财富，认为有了钱就等于拥有了人生的财富。其实财富不仅仅是指金钱，还有更多的含义，有钱并不代表就拥有人生的财富，更不代表就会拥有幸福快乐这一财富。
有一个海盗王，他有一个12岁的女儿，他十分疼爱她，便给她留下了一大笔的金钱，她现在总该幸福了吧！可事实并不是这样的，她几乎每天都会遭到绑架，无奈之下，她父亲只好把她一个人关在一座城堡里。小女孩安全了，却也失去了生活中最重要的一样东西，那就是人间的真情。金钱能买来很多物品，却买不来真情，小女孩失去了人间真情也就没有了幸福快乐可言了。
然而，在一个贫困的家庭里我们可以快乐的生活着，做我们想做的事，这不是很快乐吗？虽不能想有啥就有啥，但我们的生活过得快乐，这也是我们的财富，是金钱所不
能买来的财富。
我也是一个拥有一大笔财富的人，我的财富不是金钱，而是健康。俗话说：身体是革命的本钱。要是没有一个健康的身体，我们有再多的金钱也是没用的。金钱没了，我们可以再赚，健康没了，我们却是赚不回来的。只要我们有了一个健康的身体，就能创造更多的金钱财富，同时也得到了健康这一用金钱买不到的财富。一个有万贯家财的人，不一定就能拥有一个健康的身体。他虽能用金钱请最好的医生，但他不能摆脱病魔的纠缠。而一个拥有健康的人，他不但不用花钱去看病，更不用忍受病痛的折磨。
一个拥有金钱财富的人并没有错，重要的是看他如何去对待它，如何使用它。正确了，将会流芳百世；错了，带给他的将是一个又一个的麻烦。只要我们每个人都摆好了心态，不仅不用怕金钱的诱惑，还能创造比金钱更宝贵的财富，反之，我们要是没有用正确的心态去面对，我们就有可能受金钱的诱惑而坠入罪恶的深渊，又怎么能说拥有财富呢？

钱能买来食物，却买不来食欲；钱能买来药品，却买不来健康；钱能买来熟人，却买不来朋友；钱能买来奉献，却买不来信赖。所以凡事都不能勉强，钱不能解决任何问题。对于金钱，我们得学会运用。王延江，他是一位农村党支部书记，对钱有两论：一是“人活着没钱不行”，拥有百万之富，单却简单朴素。二是“人不能为钱而活”，他把钱看的比棉花还轻，他对穷人慷慨相助，把钱都拿出来，把村变成了一个亿元村。多么伟大的人啊！
对于金钱，我们得取之有道，用正当手段赚钱，靠诚实劳动和合法经营获得财富，而不义之财终被夺，靠非法经营，非法手段赚钱，决不会有好下场。树立正确的金钱观，我们的灵魂更纯洁，道德更高尚，境界和智慧更上一个层次。

一些人认为钱是生命中最重要的东西。他们甚至认为钱是财富和社会地位的象征。例如，一个拥有很多钱的人可以做他想做的任何事情。他能买得起昂贵的汽车和豪华的房子，他可以周游世界，去任何他想去的地方观光旅行。在他们的眼中，钱是生活的一切。
In my opinion， money can both benefit people and do harm to them. On the one hand， we can't deny that money is useful. We need money to buy food， buy a house or pay our education cost. Money can make us live more comfortably. For example， with more money， we can help others and take part in more social activities and receive a good education， thus increasing our knowledge and developing our skills. On the other hand， some people try to get money by dishonest means， for example， they often cheat and gamble， even rob and kill people. Sooner or later， they will be punished by the law.
