AN UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE
As a university student, I would like to be a volunteer at or outside school. In the vacation, I went to a primary school in our small village to teach students there, which left me a deep impression.
Before teaching, I made many preparations for this .I collected much information about students who were still children under 9, such as their hobbies, their characteristics and so on. Of course, I made a plan on how I could teach and play with them .As a result, I learned much from the Internet and when I thought that I would meet them who were innocent; I was in a positive mood.
The first day when I got in the classroom of grade 2, I didn’t be welcomed by them, making me at a loss. Then I was told that they were not used to listening to me because of my accent. What confused me most was that my Putonghua was bad and could not be understood well .So I had to say in a local language and only teach them math and physics.
At class I would ask them to answer questions but it didn’t go well. I didn’t know what to do until other teachers gave me a hand. In accordance with them, I had to be angry and strict with
these children and score of them. But I didn’t intend to do like these, so they had to allow me to play with them and tell stories. Of course, I counted numbers with them with joy even though I thought it is a fool. In fact, their intelligence is not bad. What interested me most is their innocence and afterwards I am popular with them and surrounded by them to tell stories and play games.
I am not good at teaching in class formally, but I should think why I can’t. Maybe it is because of my
characteristic or my accent. At the same time I got a lot of fun from it .So I should learn from my disadvantages and remembers this unforgettable experience forever.

An Unforgettable Experience
There are various activities in the college, such as hiking, gathering, competitions and so on. And what impresses me most is my experience of being a volunteer teacher.
I was a freshman when the School of Foreign Languages organized a voluntary activity which aimed at providing children in poor areas with a better education. As a matter of fact, I did not show any interest in this activity, for I thought that I just wasted my time and energy without getting any pay. But finally I followed the trend and went to the interview for a try. To my surprise, I was enrolled as a member of the teaching group. I became quite excited and made up my mind to prepare for the class as well as I could. I read their textbook again and again to make sure that I was familiar with the language points. What’s more, I searched on the Internet for some additional information, which I thought would help me a lot in the class. At that time, I really could not wait to give the lecture.
Fortunately, it didn’t keep me waiting too long. It was a sunny day. And we spent almost an hour in the bus. Although I was tired and sleepy, my enthusiasm overwhelmed my tiredness. The school is a small place full of various books. The children there were so lovely that they left me a deep impression. They keep asking me questions about study and they were also curious about the college life. I was quite happy surrounded by a group of children.
I really benefit a lot from the unforgettable experience. I realize that money and some material things should not be considered as the most important thing in our life. It is the self-realization that really makes our life meaningful. Although I did not get any material things from this activity, I was very happy for what I did for the children. So I hold that we should not just consider the salary in job-hunting, we should also think about whether the job can bring you spiritual enjoyment or not.
Never have I forgotten the experience that we travel by bike. At the beginning we suspect that it will rain tomorrow before the trip, but the weather confirmed that we suspect is redundant. It was a sunny day.

During the past year at high school，I have had many unforgettable experiences. One of them was a group singing competition. Luckily, I was chosen as a member of the singing group. We started the preparation for it at once, such as choosing a song, practicing singing, preparing clothes. We made full use of our spare time so as to perform well on the stage. To our delight, we won the first prize with the encouragements of our teachers and classmates.
I learned a lot from this singing competition, just as a famous saying goes, “No pains, no gains.” Life is full of challenge, but if we are full of confidence and working hard, we will achieve our dreams eventually.

I still remember one thing that happened last year in my school. One day I was having an art lesson in the school. The teacher told us to draw a picture of the trees in the school. I went to the playground and started to draw. But I couldn" t do it well beacause I was not good at it. So I told myself to give up. Just then, my teacher came. He looked at my painting and said, “Let me help you to make it better. Nothing is impossible.” Then I began to draw again. With the help of my teacher, I did it much better.

When I was in Grade Seven, I visited Paris with my schoolmates and my teachers. It"s really an unforgettable experience to me. The beautiful views attracted me so much. More importantly, I have learned to be independent. I lived with a girl called Alice and her family. They wew frendly to me. But this didn"t mean I didn" t need to do anything. I had to do something by myself. Every morning, I got up and laid my bed, I helped to wash dishes after meals and helped to do some of the housework. During those days, I have learned a lot. I found that I used to depend on my parents far more than I realized. It"s really an unforgettable experience because I "ve learned to be independent.

Three years ago, it snowed heavily in Shanghai in winter, and it left me an unforgettable experience. In those days, roads, trees, cars and buildings were all covered with snow. If you looked out of the window, you would find everything white outside. I thought that was very wonderful, because Shanghai is in the south-east of China, so it is quite warm. In fact, in winter, the weather in Shanghai is so warm that it seldom snows. I live in Shanghai, so I"ve never seen snow since I was born. If someone lives in the north, they will think snow is very common, but I don"t because I live in Shanghai. For these reasons, I think snow is beautiful. That is why that snow gave me an unforgettable memory.

Today was Sunday, Father took me to see the International Car Show. This is my first time to visit the show. My father and I are very excited because both of us are fans of cars. I thought it was a good chance for us to broaden our minds and enrich our knowledge. We were glad to see so many kinds of cars there. We took a lot of pictures and planned to keep them in the computer. Three hours later, we went back home. Though we were very tired, we didn"t stop talking about the car show on our way home. An Unforgettable Experience
It seems that everyone has their own at least one particular experience that would be far-reaching influence in his or her`s life.Definitely, i`m one of them.
It was the first day of National Day before last year,i and other four roommates had intended to pick up cotton and we were all agreed that idea.The next day morning ,we take bus to a named city WuJia Qu, passed by this city, we arrived at destination in the afternoon ——-102 Group.
Getting out of the bus ,all things came into my eyes seemed to be so ordinary:The short and small houses that were made up of mud(but latter, I found out that the mud just the outside layer.)all over the places;The ground was dusty ;A little small bush growing from place to place .But my feelings was so exciting by the facing things that i had spent the whole half day wondering around there, and even the sun was went down,I was not came back hotel until 11 o`clock.{an,unforgetable,experience}.
The thing remains fresh in my memory until today had taken place the second day after arrived there.
On that day very early morning at about 5 o`clock, we had to get up for preparing for picking up cotton.Out of hotel:Insects are still singing in the fields;The stars are blinking in the sky ;The cold wind are blowing.Our hands all exposed to the air were too cold to stretch our fingers straightly.Afterwards,we came to a place where many cotton workers were bargaining with the boss about the cotton`s price that whose would get pay from.We found a boss and a bus , of course ,what we did as the cotton workers do.Then the bus was swimming taking us in he darkness,as if the whole world we lives in was just the car inside space at that moment.{an,unforgetable,experience}.
As soon as we arrived the cotton fields , we were hurrying to pick up cottons though the sky was even not a little white bright.We were so exciting that we forgot the time.Unconsciously,the sky was bright.
The hurrying and exciting was continuing until about 9 o`clock,we felt a little bit tired for everyone`s two hands were all engaging in picking up and our body must bow down.At lunch time ,all we have just o loaf of a hand and a bottom of mineralized water.After lunch ,we kept gong on ,but the step became more slower as times went on and we needed beat our back from time to time.In the middle afternoon we must beat our back frequently to release backache.Eventually,we were all hold up to the end of the day through our indeed became slower and slower.After all,we were went through from the hard day.
After that day,I realized that,sometimes,when we want achieve a goal, the element of hardworking is not enough,but the the way can take you to the load to success is most important.We should think that what are you dong ?, and what are you going to do when you finished some big event in your eyes?, and what king of thing suit for you to engaging in ? This summer holiday, I went to Dalian with my family. We got there by air. Dalian is a very beautiful and modern city. On the bus, we could see all kinds of buildings which were great.
In the morning, we got to the hotel where we lived. After breakfast, we began to our travel. First we took the bus to the Sea Park. There are so many different kinds of fishes that I couldn’t believe my eyes. We also saw the show of dolphins. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. The seafood which was very famous in China was delicious.
After lunch we went swimming. The sea was blue and beach was golden. We all enjoyed ourselves in the sea. Finally we went back the hotel where we lived. We had a happy day.
In this trip, we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in Dalian, went shopping and so on.
Several days later, we left Dalian. On our way home, we were very happy. This was the reason why we didn’t feel tired. In all, we had a good holiday.

My families plan to visit the interesting place p of Shanghai.We are led to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower ,a famous tourist attraction,which is on every Shanghainese's lips.It is a magnificent building located in Pudong New Area,it is the tallest building,so it's very easy to see this building,even if you are several miles away it.As we get to the high floor of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower,we see the attractive viwswhich includes the Huangpu River through the window.At the moment,l suddenly moved by the builders put their soul and energy to this building and let it be a landmark of this city.
This is the trip l never forget.
As a student ,I don’t have any great event to talk about ,but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination.
During the first three years of junior school ,we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June, everything blew onto our faces : teachers’ changing , harder and harder texts , terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ,always from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next day.{an,unforgetable,experience}.
But I must say that it’s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest, and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning, my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many people’s true & pure friendship, both teachers ’ and classmates’. In some way, I like that kind of life, as it taught me many things I’d never learned before. Teachers also helped me a lot. I still can’t forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10:00 p.m. on April 30th, 2003, for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me,
so did my Chinese teacher. I should say, all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill, they never left us one day .{an,unforgetable,experience}.
The last and greatest challenge was of course the final exam, also my high school entrance exam. I felt very well and comfortable except my chemistry physics exams. The result proved that I couldn’t have done worse in them. But in total, my mark is O.K. So then I became a student in the best high school of Hubei Province.
We, teachers and students, got together in East Lake Hotel on June 4th, 2003. At the moment of saying goodbye, I felt that my time of junior had gone ,and my senior time was coming .
Today, I looked at my graduate photos again ,and ,I smiled .{an,unforgetable,experience}.
He once hesitated ,struggled, feared and doubted, like an ordinary man would do. But he just "stays at the door of fate", as the name of his newly-written book says, and waits till the door opens instead of leaving during the half way. An Unforgettable Experience
Our childhood is just like a string of beautiful pearl necklace, and every clownish thing that happened when we were young all made the necklace more and more captivating and glittering. And today I’d love to pick up one of them to share with you.
It was a summer day, hot and stuffy. My friends and I arrived at the park as usual,and we played hide-and-seek for hours. Unwittingly, it was mealtime and we were tired, sweaty, hungry and thirsty. So we sat under a tree for a short break. Suddenly, one of my friends shouted:” Look, too many peaches!” And we all looked at the direction of his finger at once. It was a peach tree grown with fruits, unfortunately, those peaches were not mature. However, we decided to pick all the peaches off the tree.
Two boys climbed up, and with the greatest ease picked off a green peach, and gave it to us. We were extremely happy and excited. “One, two, three, four…” Unconsciously,our schoolbag was fulled of immature peaches. But when took a bite, and our mouths were fulled of dry bitterness. “It is too awful to swallow!” we all cried. And then tossed those immature peaches as casually as possible.
Unexpectedly, the park keeper was coming. We were running as fast as our feet would move, and finally we hidden in a toilet that near the peach tree. We were pretty fearsome, and for a long while we lost our voice. Just a second later, a rude voice called out:” Oh, my god. Who stole my peaches?
Come out quickly! You do not have the quality! Those peaches are still immature, and why are you wasting them…” the angry voice went in our ear constantly, and we were shaking with fright as if we had seen a ghost.” Though there was no one in front of us. “ I can not stand it, let us admit it!” one of my friends frightens shiver a way. “No ,we can’t, he will kill us!” another voice added. “Do we have to stay at the toilet forever?” “What if the park keeper can not accept our apologies?” “Whether he could found us or not…” The toilet was very quiet and smelly, and we just could hear us whispering to one another. As a matter of fact, we really had to go through a hoop to endure the harsh voice. As if the time stood still, we even did not know how long we had stayed at the toilet. Abruptly, we found the harsh voice was disappeared, and all of us were relieved. When we went out of the toilet, the sky was blue, the sun was shinning,and the birds were singing in the trees. But when we looked at those green peaches that lying on the ground, believe it or not, they really left a bad taste in our mouths and hearts for a long time.
From then on, we never have done the same thing again, due to the special experience helps us get rid of our ignorance and childishness. I also believe no one of us could forget it, because it would be one of the brightest colors of our childhood.

An Unforgettable Experience
Last summer vacation, I participated in a public service activity, which is considered as one of the most unforgettable experience in my life.
During the around 20 days, I taught students, whose ages range from 6 to 14, as a volunteer teacher in a place with a small yard and 3 ranch house, which is accepted as a school there. The students that I taught are all Muslins from diversely rural areas and they cannot easily integrate themselves into city life, which contributes a lot to their lack of confidence. Most of them have no opportunity to study in the classroom of a regular school. Even if some of them have one, they still cannot be well concerned and even be ignored by teachers occasionally. In this case, some caring people gathered these children here for basic education, and help them as possible as they can materially and spiritually. I with my teammates vividly taught them something about the city they live in, their health and safety, their national culture and so forth.
Those days are the toughest day I experienced. W e 8 girls shared 3 beds and 2 quilts at night; we got up earlier than 6 o’clock to catch up with the bus and stayed up till midnight to prepare for the materials that we would use in class the next day; we were always infuriated by naughty boys and worried about their safety on their way home. In the meantime, those days are the most moving days I had. These kids were waiting for us at the bus station every morning and then walked with us hand in hand; they brought diverse traditional food to us zealously; they were always asking us the exact time that we would come back when we were about to leave.
And I became mature now through this activity. I learned to live plainly without making unreasonable demands when I knew that some families only had less than a hundred Yuan for living a month, and some others only had to eat potatoes and steamed buns everyday without any vegetables or fruits. I learned it important to cherish what I have possessed when I knew that a 14-year-old girl cannot study at school only because she was needed to take care of her two sisters and one brother on her own. Furthermore, I also gained a precious friendship with 11 peers after sharing everything with one another and facing every difficulty together.
A month has passed since the activity had finished, I miss those children and my friends very much now, and I believe this kind of experience will never fade away in our memory.
